The story of FaithIT – How a small startup made it to the title of ‘Leading IT Company of Bangladesh.’
Back in 2010 when we started out as a two-person company, little did we know that we would one day be known as the leading IT company in Bangladesh. Our journey has been filled with challenges and successes, and we are proud to have made it this far.
We started out by providing sales services for a UK-based client. Within a few months, we expanded our team to 10 members. We then added outbound services and started working with clients from all over the world. In 2012, we opened our first office in Sylhet.
Since then, we have continued to grow and expand our services. We now employ 70 personnel and provide a wide range of IT services, including inbound customer support, outbound sales, web development, graphic design, etc.
How the company started
We had a humble beginning, starting with only two people in 2010. We began by providing inbound customer support services to a UK-based client.
The company gradually started growing and taking on more contracts. In 2012, we got our own place with 8 people. We divided our workforce into B2B and B2C teams and started selling POS machines and card machines.
We have been maintaining customer relations over the world since 2010. Currently, we have more than 350+ happy clients of OrderE.
In the UK we also started a company that sells till rolls, we have 100-150 recurring clients buying till rolls from us.
We have more than 1000 customers all over the UK using our card machines.
We have more than 500 customers using our EPOS system. All this goes to show the level of trust our clients have in us.
Expansion and growth
As time went by and we started employing more staff, we began to explore new opportunities and offer new services. In 2015, we moved into a commercial space and furnished it as a professional-looking IT company.
We also started training our employees in different skill sets so that they could provide better services to our clients. This led to the birth of three other companies – OrderVox, OrderE, and Tillrolls.
During 2016-17, we started working on our own platform, “OrderE”. We developed the product under our own roof and registered the business as OrderVox in the UK. We traded under the name of OrderE which provided restaurant businesses with an online food ordering platform.
We also built websites for our clients and provided them with other digital marketing services. FaithIT is now a leading IT company in Bangladesh with a team of 70+ highly skilled employees. We provide a wide range of services, including inbound customer support, outbound sales, and other business development services.
Challenges faced and how they were overcome
The journey has not been easy. We have faced many challenges along the way, but we have always found a way to overcome them.
One of the biggest challenges was finding reliable and skilled employees. In the beginning, it was difficult to find people with the right skillset and attitude. But we overcame this challenge by training our employees in-house and investing in their development.
Another challenge we faced was building our own platform, OrderE. It took a lot of time and effort to develop the product and get it up and running. But we are proud of the end result – a top-quality product that has helped our clients grow their businesses.
Currently, we employ about 100 people working on several divisions such as sales, customer support, digital marketing, web development, HR and recruitment. And we have 17000 square feet office space that we intent to fill up with 200 employees by 2023.
We are also planning to expand our services to include software development and artificial intelligence. We are confident that we will achieve our goals and continue to grow as a leading call centre in Bangladesh.
